河口って不思議な場所な気がします。
淡水でもなく海水でもなく、あいまいにあちらとこちらを結ぶのです。
河口という名も面白いです。
高い山から海へそそぐ水を中心に考えると、物理的にはお尻の方がピタッときますが、
竜のように川を捉え、魚を飲み込む口とイメージすると、確かに口です。
この大地と星を繋ぐ、あいまいな境界として、河口を描きたくなりました。
黒部川。立山連峰から一気に海に向かう、この川を思うと、胸が痛くなります。
