星月夜。
生家は丹後の農家だったので、田植えや稲刈り、葉煙草の収穫など、人手の必要なことが多く、
家族総出なので、なんの戦力にもならないうちから田畑にくりだします。
小学校に通う頃には、帰宅しても誰もいないことが多かったので、
友達と遊びまわる以外は、家の庭に木の枝で漫画を描いていたそうです。
ここは、日本の道百選に選ばれた、八尾町の諏訪町本通線の南西にある、三乗の棚田です。
ほどよく整備されてるとはいえ、
かなり標高の高い場所なので、私のような体験をした子供がたくさんいるのだろうなあ、
とか思いながらスケッチをしたり写真を撮ったりしました。
木の陰や田んぼの畦道に、幼い自分が沢山いて楽しかったです。
とても空に近づいた気がしました。
