四国霊場八十八ヶ所・第88番札所・真言宗大覚寺派医王山遍照光院大窪寺での取材です。
大窪寺はいわゆる結願の寺です。
スケッチをしている時も、すがすがしい顔のお遍路さんが沢山いらっしゃいました。
私に声をかけてこられた方は北海道の方でした。
素晴らしい笑顔で励ましていただきました。
いつも大変お世話になっている恩人が、
偶然出会った人の願いを聞き、その夢が早くかなうようにと願い、
これこれこんな絵を私が描いて、それをプレゼントしたいということで、
それを描いたのがこの作品です。
私はその方を知りませんが、私もその願いをこめて描きました。
きっといつか、その方の願いがかなった時その方と出会い、
今度は、その方の次の願いのために願いをこめて
その方に絵を描くのだろう。
そんな気がしています。
